horses in the program
We are currently in the process of re-doing photos, info and videos on all of the horses in the program. Some pictures of most are posted in the two sub-categories under this tab. Please feel free to contact us with specifics on what you might be looking for in a future partner as we have quite a few available or may not have them uploaded yet. More info on what type of info would help us narrow things down as to what may be most suitable for you is contained under the Contact tab in the side bar.
All of our re-started horses are worked with and handled by a professional trainer. All horses in the program which are currently available are started with solid basics on the longe line first and then move on to a flatwork program before they are started through gymnastics and over fences if suitability allows. They are also occasionally free longed and free jumped. We do not allow anyone to try track broke only horses. The majority of our horses are best suited to an intermediate level rider and up, preferable working with a knowledgeable coach/trainer, simply because most are greener. We do occasionally have some horses available with a fair amount of schooling on them that may be suitable for a good novice level rider, again, preferably working with a knowledgeable trainer/coach to keep things going in the right direction.
Please note that not all horses in the program are available at any one time. Those that are available are re-started and therefore available to be tried. Not all horses are suitable for all disciplines. We recommend you bringing along another knowledgeable party and/or trainer or coach for further input on any horse that might interest you. All of our horses are UTD on worming, vaccinations, teeth floating and farrier. As well, we do offer any and all veterinary records that we have access to as well as any other information we may have on any of the horses in the program; however, if you have any concerns, a vet check is always recommended as we cannot know all of the details of every horse.
If for some reason at any point in time should circumstances change for an adopter and they can no longer keep their horse, we do accept any of our horses back into the program if space permits. There are no restrictions regarding re-sale of adopted horses if you are buying as a project, we simply ask that we be notified of the pending sale, the new owner's contact info be provided to us, ours to them and that the contract follow onwards to the new party in order to help protect the horse for life.
Please contact us for the adoption fees on any horses you may be interested in, we do not have them posted as they can vary depending on suitability and as training progresses.
